  • comprehensive health insurance with modest monthly premiums, available the first day of the month following employment;
  • pension contributions to, and immediate vesting in, the Wisconsin Retirement System—one of the largest pension funds in the United States;
  • other insurance coverage, such as income continuation and life;
  • employee reimbursement accounts to fund eligible expenses with pre-tax dollars; and
  • financial assistance for a CPA review course, and automatic salary add-on upon passing the CPA exam, and when certified.
Paid leave is also available for sitting for the CPA exam, military duty, and jury duty.

Additional financial assistance may also be available through the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. Individuals employed in state government for 10 years may be eligible to have some of their school loans discharged.
