Economic Recovery |
|
Compiled by Marian G. Rogers, May 2009 |

In recent months, the economy has stagnated, jobs have been lost, and businesses
have closed. Earlier this year, President Obama signed the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), which is designed to revitalize and jump-start
the economy. The Wisconsin Legislature will consider Assembly Bill 255 and
Senate Bill 189 to guide the state's expenditure of economic stimulus funds.
This issue of Tap the Power features background material, some
Wisconsin-specific information, and links to helpful Web sites nationwide.
