The 1996 Prenatal Care Survey Report. Wisconsin Bureau of Health Information. (614.06/W7L1/1996) This detailed report examines differences in the adequacy of prenatal care, delivery, and birth weight given the mother's health insurance coverage, race/ethnicity, and area of residence within the state.

Annual Statewide Immunization Program Report. Wisconsin Division of Health. (HFS/H/a) This mandated report to the legislature contains figures and analysis on the quantity of vaccine doses distributed in Wisconsin and the incidence of vaccine-preventable diseases.

Behavioral Risk Factors. Wisconsin Bureau of Health Information. (614/W7a/1997) Data collected in this pamphlet is gathered through an annual statewide telephone survey. The survey collects information on risk factors for chronic disease such as smoking, obesity, cholesterol level, physical activity, and diet. (312/W7n) This 1996 report offers a thorough examination of the health status and medical care received by children in Wisconsin. Numerous tables provide a variety of statistics on the incidence of disease, prevention, and emergency health services.

Guide to Wisconsin Hospitals. Wisconsin Office of Health Care Information. (614.07/W7m4) This annual directory of Wisconsin hospitals is arranged by county and offers statistical data on the finances, staffing levels, occupancy rates, and type of services offered to patients.

Health Care State Rankings. Morgan Quitno Corporation. (614.01/M82) This annual publication contains over 500 tables ranking each of the fifty states by a variety of health and medical service criteria. Broad categories include births and reproductive health, deaths, medical facilities, finance, incidence of disease, medical providers, and physical fitness.

Minority Health in Wisconsin: Toward a Healthy Diversity. Wisconsin Center for Health Statistics. (614/W7e4/1993) This 1993 report covers all aspects of health from infancy to old age. Dozens of tables detail the health status of minorities in Wisconsin with direct comparisons to the statewide and national populations. Lengthy narratives offer further context for the data.

Public Health Profiles, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Bureau of Health Statistics. (312/W7j) This annual publication is a compilation of four-page profiles for each county, as well as several regional profiles. Each profile includes data on population characteristics, births, deaths, morbidity, local health departments, long-term care, and hospitalizations during the calendar year.

Reported Induced Abortions in Wisconsin. Wisconsin Bureau of Health Information. (347.1231/W7i) This annual report summarizes data on the number of abortions conducted in Wisconsin. The figures are broken down by age, marital status, race, educational attainment, estimated gestation, and county of residence.

Substance Abuse Services in Wisconsin. Wisconsin Bureau of Substance Abuse Services. (HFS/s) This annual report lists figures for the number of people receiving substance abuse treatment within various population groups including adolescents, women, the elderly, the disabled, minorities, injection drug users, intoxicated drivers, and criminal justice referrals. The report also provides narrative descriptions of many different treatment and counselor certification programs.

Uncompensated Health Care, Wisconsin Hospitals. Wisconsin Bureau of Health Information. (614.07/W7m2) This publication summarizes the uncompensated costs incurred through charity and bad debt by Wisconsin hospitals. Data on the quantity of patients served and type of care delivered is included as well as financial statistics.

Wisconsin AIDS/HIV Update. Wisconsin Division of Health. (346.28/W7p) This quarterly publication offers detailed statistics on the number of reported cases of HIV infection and AIDS spanning several years and broken down by age, race, sex, and source of exposure. County level data is also included. Each issue features new articles on prevention, treatment, and support services.

Wisconsin Births and Infant Deaths. Wisconsin Bureau of Health Information. (312/W7a/pt.1) In addition to statistics on the number of infant births and deaths, this annual report provides numerous figures on the mother's age, race, education, marital status, and the level of prenatal care received. The report also lists statistics on methods of delivery, birth weight, and other newborn characteristics. Wisconsin Cancer Incidence and Mortality. Wisconsin Bureau of Health Information. (614.48/W7b) This annual report summarizes statistics on the incidence of cancer and deaths due to cancer throughout Wisconsin. Data is recorded by type of cancer, age, sex, and county of residence. Wisconsin Nursing Home Directory and Fact Book. Wisconsin Bureau of Health Information. (614.08/W7/1998) This annual directory, arranged by county, contains detailed statistical profiles of each nursing home in Wisconsin. Each entry lists information on patient diagnosis, services provided, occupancy rate, and method of reimbursement.

Wisconsin Nursing Homes and Residents. Wisconsin Bureau of Health Information. (614.08/W7j4/1996) Data gathered from the Annual Survey of Nursing Homes is presented in this statistical report on nursing home administration, staffing, and resident care. Wisconsin Youth Risk Behavior Survey. Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. (347.18/W7g) This annual survey is conducted as part of a national survey by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control to measure youth involvement with weapons and violence, suicide, tobacco use, alcohol and other drug abuse, sexual behavior, diet, and exercise.
